We picked up a new project recently, more of a future project but an exciting one. The pair are about 3 years old, ideally they should be 5-6 before they breed so we have a good head start. I parted with a male Egyptian a good 15 years ago and regretted it immediately, getting another chance to keep and breed them is a real treat. After the expo we will be mixing up a big batch of substrate and redoing their 6 foot tanks so they can borrow themselves a perfect habitat.
